Product/Technical Questions:

MMQCI’s quality control products are uniquely designed to monitor the entire molecular diagnostic test process, as required by best practice and regulations. They are intended to be used as an external control to assist the laboratory in the detection and troubleshooting of test system errors associated with analytical variances such as reagents, equipment and operator.

The controls should be treated as you would a patient sample. Usage instructions vary from product to product; please see the included package insert

Our controls cannot be cloned sold or transferred without the explicit written consent of MMQCI

The control is NOT quantifiable by routine spectrophotometer methods because although we have mimicked genomic synthetic nucleic acid copy number, the target synthetic nucleic acid has much less mass and also contains non-human synthetic nucleic acid.

All of our products are 100% latex free.

Our controls do NOT contain infectious material. Our controls are made of synthetic nucleic acid suspended in a matrix of carrier synthetic nucleic acid of non-human species, preservatives, dye and stabilizers.
