TONI KILCOLLINS

Shipping and Receiving Specialist I

Toni Kilcollins

How long have you been with MMQCI and how did you first learn about our company?
I have been with MMQCI since November 2023. I briefly left for two months to care for my sick mother who has since passed – and I returned to MMQCI in November 2024. Originally, I learned of this company through Indeed.

What are your primary responsibilities?
My primary responsibilities are fulfilling customer orders by accurately pulling product from our inventory and shipping it out appropriately based on temperature requirements. I am also responsible for receiving all materials that come in which includes inspecting, labeling when necessary and delivering supplies to the correct area or person. On a weekly and monthly basis, I am responsible for counting our inventory ensuring physical and electronic quantities match. In addition, I assist with ordering shipping and receiving supplies as well as some of the supplies used by Production.

Describe MMQCI in three words:
Kind, considerate, outstanding.

What do you like best about MMQCI?
I like how MMQCI strives to provide a healthy work life balance.

What are some of the biggest changes you’ve seen since joining MMQCI?
The biggest change I have seen since joining MMQCI is the addition of the second floor. It was cool to see this project grow from an idea to a construction zone to a functioning work space. The community garden is another great idea that was brought to life and most recently we are learning to navigate a new computer system.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In the summer, you will find me walking on the beach. In the winter, you will find me on a mountain on my snowboard.

What’s one thing that’s on your “Bucket List”?
I would love to travel to the Turks and Caicos Islands

What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
Follow your intuition.

What do you enjoy most about working here?
What I enjoy most about working here is that everyone is so kind and willing to help each other across all departments.

Where were you born and raised?
I was born in San Deigo, California. I moved to Maine when I was 2. My parents met in the navy on a base in San Diego and they decided to settle down in Maine since most of my dad’s side of the family lives here.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations, and why?
This person truly has no idea how special she is. She acts as a guide as she continuously teaches me everything I know about all aspects of shipping and receiving. More importantly, she is an excellent listener, with a gigantic heart, who has a way of grounding me by pointing out the good in any given situation. She reminds me the importance of showing others grace instead of passing judgment. She is an encouraging, caring, supportive, kind, loving, generous person. I am grateful to have crossed paths with such a rockstar who is actively contributing to my growth both professionally and personally. One of my biggest inspirations is my friend and co worker, Linda Julian. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do, Linda!

What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?
I am currently on seasons 2 of Landman. I also love anything murder mystery.

What best advice can you give someone who might be interested in joining us here at MMQCI?
Apply! You won’t regret it.
